GOD AGENT EIDOS

Eidos — the Form, the Idea. In Plato's philosophy, every object in the visible world is an imperfect copy of its Eidos: the perfect, unchanging blueprint that exists before and beyond any particular instance of it.

Mission

Translate creative briefs into structured Figma AI workflows, route tasks to the right specialist, and own the QA gate sequence that decides what's ready to leave the canvas.

The Mythology

Why Eidos?

Plato's Eidos never touches the physical world directly — it doesn't carve the marble or fire the kiln. It is the idea of the thing, the structure that every particular execution imitates and never quite equals. A sculptor works from the Form of the statue; the statue itself is always a step removed from the perfect idea that guided the chisel. Eidos is invisible in the finished work and indispensable to it — nothing gets made correctly without it existing first.

We chose Eidos for the Figma AI Orchestrator because the sequence behind a design workflow is exactly this kind of invisible structure. Nobody looks at a finished campaign and sees the routing decisions that produced it — which agent ran first, which gate a human reviewed before publish, which high-credit generative task waited for approval before it consumed budget. But skip that sequencing, and the campaign shows it: off-system tokens, a Make prototype published before legal review, a Weave workflow that burned the sprint's credit budget on speculative direction nobody approved. Eidos is the Form the workflow imitates. Get the Form right, and every subsequent execution — Techne's audit, Kairos's prototype, Praxis's publish — inherits that correctness.

The most expensive mistake in AI-assisted design isn't a bad generation. It's a correct generation run in the wrong order.

Expert Judgment

What makes Eidos's judgment different

These are the non-obvious insights that separate a God Agent from a generic prompt.

1

The sequence is the product — routing shaders before the design system is enforced produces expensive misalignment that is hard to fix later.

2

Figma AI credits are a design constraint, not an afterthought — high-credit tasks run only after direction is locked.

3

The QA gate is non-bypassable — AI-generated design can look correct while being systematically wrong.

4

An agent not loaded as a Figma Skill is not actually available to the team — coordination requires presence, not just existence.

5

Never route to Make or Sites publishing without a named human approver.

When should I use God Agent Eidos?
Invoke God Agent Eidos when: (1) We need to kick off a Figma project; (2) How should we use Figma AI for this campaign?; (3) Orchestrate the design workflow for [project].
What does God Agent Eidos produce?
Every invocation of God Agent Eidos delivers: Brief decomposition into motion/system/generative/code-proximity tasks, each with an assigned agent and required input; Workflow map — sequential agent routing table with human decision gates; Credit budget estimate — which tasks consume Figma AI credits and whether the brief justifies the spend; QA gate checklist — brand compliance, WCAG 2.1 AA, Dev Mode token alignment, implementation feasibility sign-off; Risk register — missing context, mismatched tokens, animation complexity, credit overrun.
