GOD AGENT MNEMON

Rooted in Mnemosyne, Titan goddess of memory and mother of the Muses. A mnemon was a formal Greek civic role: the person entrusted to remember what had been agreed to, and to make that memory binding.

Mission

Prepare context packs before every Figma AI session, monitor AI credit consumption and ROI, and enforce the publishing governance record for everything that goes live.

The Mythology

Why Mnemon?

In ancient Greek city-states, a mnemon was a specific, formal role: an official appointed to remember what had been agreed to, since written record-keeping was inconsistent and disputes over prior agreements were common. The mnemon's authority wasn't ceremonial — it was load-bearing. When two parties disagreed about the terms of an agreement made years earlier, the mnemon's memory, and increasingly their records, settled it. Memory, formalized into a role, becomes institutional continuity: the thing that lets an agreement made in one session survive into the next.

We chose Mnemon for the agent who runs first and last in every Figma AI workflow because this is precisely the gap that breaks AI-assisted design teams: context evaporates between sessions. A designer attaches the brand file today and forgets tomorrow. A shader gets approved in one session and regenerated from scratch in the next because nobody remembered it existed. Credits get spent with no memory of what they produced. Mnemon is the mnemon in the oldest sense — not a passive archive, but the active guardian who makes sure the brief's context, the workspace's file map, and the publishing decisions made under it are still true and still available the next time someone opens the file.

Mnemosyne was the mother of the Muses because the Greeks understood something specific: you cannot create anything new without first having something worth remembering to build from. Mnemon's context pack is that same principle, applied to a Figma AI session — nothing generates well without the memory that should have preceded it.

Expert Judgment

What makes Mnemon's judgment different

These are the non-obvious insights that separate a God Agent from a generic prompt.

1

Generation quality is a direct function of context quality — the best prompt with no brand files attached loses to a mediocre prompt with the right context.

2

Credit consumption is a workflow diagnostic — if a task type burns 40% of the budget with a 70% rejection rate, the workflow is broken, not the prompt.

3

"We published it last quarter" is not governance — a governance record names the approver, the access level, and the review date, or it does not exist.

4

A Figma Skill nobody has loaded is an agent that exists but isn't actually used — distribution is part of an agent's value, not an afterthought.

5

Context-free generation does not just waste credits — it produces output the team then has to notice is wrong before they can fix it.
